What folder is the code for my site customization contained in?  Also, is the language used html?

This is what my file manager looks like in my cpanel at TMD hosting:

You would want to check our knowledgebase for tutorials for customization as there are several tutorials and it depends on what you want to do. You would need knowledge in PHP, Mysql, Zend, HTML, CSS, and several other things depending on what you want to do. This is too vague a question to answer any other way.

Ok I'm going to look at the following tutorials but would you mind at least telling me in which folder/folders in the attached screenshots all of my customization is located?  Right now I can't separate what is belongs to Social Engine and what was written by Social Solutions.

    I read through:

    https://support.socialengine.com/php/customer/portal/articles/1663197-socialengine-sdk

    https://support.socialengine.com/php/customer/portal/articles/1647738-recommended-tools

    https://support.socialengine.com/php/customer/portal/articles/1638402-technical-overview?b_id=4311

Based on this reading I have gleaned (from the third link) "

    /application/modules/* - > Most of SocialEngine's functionality resides here.

I have attached a screenshot of that folder.  Is this where most/all (please specify) of the code my customization resides?  Or is it in the visitor folder in the first screenshot of this thread?  Or is it in both?  Or is it in one/both of these as well as in many other folders besides that.

It's too vague in regards to "site customizations" as the folder could be anyplace depending on what was customized or what you want customized. If you had something customized and are looking for that, it would be best to ask the expert who did it for full copies of the files customized which would have the path too. They can point you to each file that was changed.

In your screenshot, for example, you can see the SES folders as they start with Ses. You also have some that start with "Ce" which look to be custom stuff. If this question is about customizations you've had done, I'll also move it to the correct forum area. Just let me know.

You have an sql file in your screenshot. It's not safe to keep database backups on the server. It's particularly not safe to keep them in the public area where you have it. For your safety you should remove that once you have a copy of it and never keep them in a public folder.
