Uploaded video not creating thumbnails

    Hello all!

First off, Donna my apologies if this is in the wrong spot. I'm not sure where the problem is stemming from.

Does anyone have any idea why an uploaded video from my computer would not produce a thumbnail?

I have been told by the 3rd party plugin creator I am using, my ffmpeg is not correctly installed and to contact the hosting company.

The hosting company is now saying ffmpeg is installed correctly and working.

Below is my issue. I also included ffmpeg versions listed on my site. If anyone can please tell me how to fix this I would greatly appreciate it.

    Thanks in advance!

    Michael

Hmmm. Try checking permissions https://www.socialengine.com/support/article/5112151/se-php-optimized-file-and-folder-permissions and make sure you are on current release of 4.10.5. Also that the host has checked ALL requirements including video requirements that require allow_url_fopen. https://www.socialengine.com/support/article/81788966/se-php-socialengine-requirements It does seem odd that the video thumb is not being created but try those tips.

You can also try to ask your hosting the path for FFMPEG. Then compare on your admin FFMPEG settings.
