  How do I remove the item that says "sell something" when starting a post.  See screenshot.

  @cmackie : You have to go to the Global Setting of  Professional Activity & Nested Comments Plugin and search for setting "Status Box Attachments". Uncheck the option of Sell Something and save changes.

  You can choose to hide / show other options from the same setting easily.
