I just discovered when attempting some updates when I click on Manage plugins I am redirected to a URL https://mysite.com/install/login asking for email and password, the admin info is not working.

I have not used mange plugins in some time but last use it was working fine, any suggestions, is this a support ticket?

    Thanks in advance.

You would want to check folder permissions:

And also ensure that no one deleted the /install folder as it's required.

Make sure mod_sec is  not enabled per our requirements:

Hello Donna and thanks /install/index.php was the only permission off was which was at 0777 changed it to 0644 did not solve that problem. As for the server config, I am sure with my host that is all ok.

Thanks but I have found this is not a hosting or SE issue but a WAF issue, I forgot a while back I started using a WAF, I modified Host file and had no issues using the site that way. It would be nice if there is a way around this using the WAF.

Why do you use the WAF if it is breaking things for you?
