  Hello,

  How to compel a member who registers to enter a minimum of character in the pseudo field.

  Indeed, some members sometimes only enter 3 letters and it is very difficult after finding them via the search engine.

  There isn't a setting that I know of. I guess on your registration you could put it in the phrase for the name for them to put more than three characters.

  You're welcome. If there's not a feature request to allow admin to choose the min and max length of the display name and username, you may want to add that feature request. I also think it would be a good setting to only allow alphabetical characters in a name as most spammers I see put 111222333 and such. I've never had a user on my author site use numbers if they are an actual user.
