Welcome Email on Approval

    I'm struggling with the Welcome email template. I feel like it should be sending when I approve a user, but it's not, and I don't know how to get it to send. All the other alerts are working fine.

    Hello Isaac,

     

         In addition to what Neha has suggested, please check if you have any 3rd party plugin which is affecting the Welcome email.

    That's already set to "Yes", and I'm not running any 3rd party plugins. (I'm also running SE 4.10.4, btw)

    Any other ideas?

    Looks like I know what's happening now! 5.0.0 fixed the bug.

    "Fixed - welcome email not sent if email verification enabled."

    So it was a conflict because I had email verification on.

    Yes, this has been fixed in SE 5. There is a new option "Yes, verify email address and send welcome email." for "Verify Email Address?" setting in the Signup Process >> Create Account section.
