Hello. Google tends to index anything and everything.
We can no longer control the cartography that is displayed and this is a real problem.
I would like to prevent Google from indexing certain pages.
Do you know where to place the noindex tag on the pages?
Can we put them directly in the TPL files?
If you have experience on this subject ...
In advance thank you
How many pages?
Do you know the URL's that you wish to block?
What web server are you using?
We have a very powerful dedicated server and several pages to exclude from Google indexing.
For example, it indexes the login page in English while the site is in French.
Another case, it indexes unnecessary layouts ...
In advance thank you
I use robots.txt to block login pages and some others.

You misunderstood my questions, so I'll be much more specific (it might be a language issue).
We are on Linux and an Apache server.
I will check if mod_rewrite and mod_headers is enabled and find out about the impact of Google indexing.
In fact, the site is in French, but Google indexes the login page but in English.
Impossible to know why ...
I noticed another curious thing, it indexes the socialengine wall while we are on a closed network.
You must be registered to view it. I do not know what to think anymore.

I will also test with the robot.txt
Thanks Donna
