Hi all
In the ACTIVITY FEED what is the pixel size (width x height) this small logo graphic is being stretched to? Thanks Gary
Your best tool is the free browser tool Inspect Element. Due to responsive design, the size of the image can change based on your choices on your site, the size of your screen, etc.
Right click and choose "Inspect" (it might be different in browsers other than chrome):
Hover the mouse over the image name and to the right, you can see the set width and height. One of those values is 100% which makes the image different sizes based on the view and choices (widget placements):
If you keep hovering over the image name, you will also see the dimensions display above the image and at the bottom of your screen:
Is there a simple fix to stop this stretching in the theme.css or do I need a developer to do custom work for it? We don't like the way it looks.
Your best option is to find a size that you feel looks best and have users upload that size. Remember, there are many different device screen sizes. This is responsive to be able to serve it best on every device. Messing with it will mean that it looks good on one device and not all the others.
Did this issue ever get resolved? I tried different photos sizes - even a really small size - and it always stretches and cuts off on BOTH mobile and desktop. I had to disable this feature entirely. Thanks!
