I would like to show the activity feed to the public on my landing page. Does anyone know how to do this?

Please let us know what version of SEPHP you are using and what theme. Each theme has its own settings and landing pages and some themes might not allow widgets to be added.

I am using version 5.3 and the Serenity Theme. I have the activity feed widget properly in the landing page, however, activity feed entries only show to logged in members and not to the public. I want it to show on the landing page to the non-logged in public.

That's odd. I tested and added the activity feed widget to the Serenity default landing page, using design 1, and it shows the feeds on my test site. Are you sure you don't have things set to Network privacy or any other privacy settings for the feeds? Are you also sure that under General Settings in admin, that you have the Portal page to Yes and not set to a private community? I can't think of anything else that might cause it to not show for you.

I found that in the general settings I have to allow the public access to view members profiles in order for posts to the activity feed to show on the landing page. I didn't want to give access to the members' profiles, but if that's the only way to see the feed I guess I have no choice.

I found that the posts that I make using the super-admin profile are not showing for the public in the activity feed. I guess this is by default, or I am missing something.

Make sure the super admin isn't set to hide on the site in that profile's privacy settings and check all of its set privacy. On my test, my super admin posts show on the landing page when I put the activity feed there.
