Anyone know what is causing this?

The image gets stretched and blurred when I upload it here but there are some funky things beside the navigation links.

Hard to see those icons in your screenshot, but is looks like little question marks indicating the font-awesome icons failed to load? We had a similar issue, where the Font-Awsome icons in the top navigation failed to load when SE was set to render in Production, yet in Development setting they did render.  Using the browser Inspector, we found it was throwing an error that Cross-browser rendering was blocked. -- > Turned out the Base URL setting in the "General" area was causing the problem.  Ric from Bryzar helped us troubleshoot the issue.

    Good luck!

Nice tips George! That is correct, we do have a bug in the base url with fontawesome so if you are using that feature in the general settings, you'll want to disable it for now unless you are using amazon CDN. There are specific settings when using that feature that may help. https://socialengine.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SU/pages/5308827/SE+PHP+-+General+Settings that is where the setting can be found and this article explains what works for it until we get the bug fixed https://socialengine.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SU/pages/5243168/SE+PHP+-+How+to+use+the+Cloud+Storage+Feature .

If you are not using CDN, the issue could be from icons you may have changed before and not then updated to the fontawesome 5. In case you had changed them before and want to update them to fontawesome 5, here's the tutorial. Note the tutorial is for the vertical menu but the info is the same. https://socialengine.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SU/pages/5570568/SE+PHP+-+Enabling+Vertical+Menus and it has a link to fontawesome icons.

If it is none of that, please have your host check our requirements. Perhaps a server maintenance update changed something which can happen. https://socialengine.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SU/pages/81788966/SE+PHP+-+SocialEngine+Requirements

The host set the server to your exact specifications using older versions of the database and the old version of PHP. with the speed-enhanced settings and security settings turned off.

Did you check the fontawesome icons? It's the only other thing I can think of without looking at it on your site.
