Tried to reset subscriber password and get this error? Happens when I edit the subscriber's profile by entering PASSWORD and then PASSWORD AGAIN to confirm entry. Thanks Gary

Just tried changing passwd--same error. Next steps? I am in the process (service install paid and support ticket opened @SocialApps.net) of upgrading to 5.8 SE PHP. Probably done next week. Thanks Gary

Host using Mysql 8. Never used MariaDB. No third party plug-ins at all--only use SE developed ones (events, photos, etc). 

I go into Admin Panel, Members, query email address, eidt record, insert new passwd, confirm it, get error
