Socialapps.tech V6 upgrade cannot be done

    Hi guys,

    I have upgraded my SE V5 and installed the new version on a new server. I want to install upgraded SocialApps plugins on my SE V6.3. My ftp works fine but when I want to install the "modules-sitecore-6.3.0p9" (which I assume I have to install before other plugins), at FTP transfer stage, it gives me one of the following messages:

    sometimes: "We are currently experiencing some technical issues" (with a random error code)

    sometimes: "connection error, login failed"

    I know that our FTP works fine. We use Php 8.

    I is so frustrating that I can't install socialapps.tech plugins. It would be appreciated if anyone can help me on this.

    Make sure you only have one installation of SocialEngine PHP as the license only allows one. As for that message, when installing plugins or upgrades, make sure you do not choose the FTP option and only choose the "None" option. That should work fine. You'll also want to double check our requirements if you are not hosting at our recommended host, BryZar, as other hosts tend to have things enabled that are not supported.
