Callbacks

    I am curious if developer apps here require callbacks to their servers in order to function or if that is against the terms of SE's app development.

    I ask as I am having plugin issues and at the same time the publisher of the plugins in question server is down.

    If you get Certified plugins, which you should insist on, then no - they cannot have callbacks other than the mobile apps as those require api callbacks.

    Mobile Apps require api callbacks to what/where (i.e. the 3PD)?

    You would need to ask each expert that has one. Mobile apps, by design, need to use an API for Apple and Google stuffs to their (apple and google) stores and things. I'm not a mobile app expert to know exactly what callbacks are needed.
