Running the latest version in a dev environment and I am seeing notifications yet when I click them or mark all as read they reappear on screen refresh.

Any ideas as to why or where I should look? I am running SES advanced newsfeed and feel that might be the culprit but am not 100%

Sometimes this can come from Caching. Depending if you are using file/opcache/redis this can just be a delay in updates. If they reappear - do they eventually disappear after 5-10 minutes (general rule for cache).

Hello James, we have checked this issue and yes, there was a conflict with the Notifications coming from the Plugin. We have removed the setting from our plugin and your website as well. This is working fine now.
Please check at your end also, and let us know if you still face any issues.

But @FM Ryan makes a valid point about caching too.

 This is exactly why their customer service makes them shine - I didn't even log a support ticket as I was not sure the issue was with their plugin and they when ahead and fixed it anyway!
