    Hello everyone,

I would like to migrate my social engine website to AWS, on to an EC2 instance. I've searched google and I can't find anything about this; No tutorials, even on AWS Marketplace the only find 2 AMI.

    Any help appreciated.

There are some experts who offer the service, check the experts in the marketplace https://www.socialengine.com/experts . I know you will need your server set up to match our requirements, https://support.socialengine.com/php/customer/portal/articles/1649350-socialengine-requirements . The only tuts we have for Amazon are for storage, https://support.socialengine.com/php/customer/en/portal/articles/1636682-how-to-use-the-cloud-storage-feature?b_id=14386 but perhaps that link will help you for that part of your hosting.

You might consider TMD or Siteground. Both have products specifically taylor-made for Social Engine. And when (not if) you have a problem, at least you get to speak to a human. 24/7 Support at no extra charge, unlike AWS. Of the two, Siteground has better reviews.

Thanks you Steve, I'm going with Siteground.

However they suspended my site, because it has malicious code in it. ! What?!

I am creating another topic under Help Section.

We run a dedicated setup through KnownHost. Yes you pay a bit more but the service is amazing. Initial response time is minutes (Usually less then 5) with a resolution shortly after. But they only take care of hardware and OS. They will not touch the script.

I have an account with SiteGround at the moment, they are very helpful, I do recommend them.

Thank you for all the messages.

If you are looking for hosting, depending on your needs we can help you find the best solution. I do also recommend SiteGround as they are consistent in their work and they are user and privacy friendly.

If you need a more robust hosting solution with full content delivery, web application firewall, global failover and more, my team can help you. Just reach out.

SiteGround is great - I can help you with a dedicated or more enterprise solution.

==> '...Support was not provided to me during their holidays or weekends. ...'

In my experience, none of the 8-9 3PDs I've worked with here typically guarantee holiday/wkd support.

I'll just try to keep my mouth shut and consider no longer coming here for anything.

We would hope that you continue to come here.

I've cleaned the thread from any posts not related to the original topic as we again have client complaints and clients not wanting to participate in our community.

This community is for help with SocialEngine script and so please remember that. I will post another informational thread soon.
