Site Stats

WOW - we finally made the switch to SE on our live site and now that we have traffic and data being generated I am curious about the admin stats that we see.

I am curious as to what people are seeing with page views per day. Also is this a unique page view or accumulative number?

Also I looked but did not see any input on how to track other important stats such as media uploads. I would be cool to see all enabled modules tracked so you could decide if they make sense to keep, cut or educate members on how to use them more frequently.

There are a few posts about stats. Not sure if you saw those. I don't recall the answer to your question atm. Will check after tickets if I can find the info.

Here's one with an explanation: https://community.socialengine.com/forums/topic/21/how-are-site-wide-stats-calculated

You had asked before how to modify what shows in the block (front end) https://community.socialengine.com/forums/topic/585/network-stats . Not sure if that helps here.

    Did either of those help?

I think you should change your name back to Data... 'cause you know everything!

We hit 41,000+ page views yesterday - not bad for soft launch of the site!

Our goal is 100k per day by month end in alignment with our full launch and then we will really stretch SE's legs and see what it can do! Performance of the site is very good speed wise. This lends itself to the script and great hosting.

Should work fineand yes, hosting is key. Optimized plugins help but I don't think many are optimized yet. However, the server can make up some for that.

SES has been working hard to get things where I need them with the plugins I have and Cazaratech has just been awesome all around

Saw this on the home page but it is quite different than what I see in my admin panel - is this something that can be enabled or?

To answer your question about page views, the stats are unique page views. So every view counts.
