Is it possible to block emails for registration?

    hey,

    sorry for again disturb you,

    i want to block some email & domain extensions that cannot be registered at my website.

    & error pass to users "this email is not allowed for registration"

    is it possible like

    i want to block "hotmail.com or aol.com"

    how can i do it?

    Not sure how the * works in the Email Address Ban field, but it seems possible that something like this might work: *@hotmail.vom, *@aol.com.  I haven't tested this but it should be quick for you to test.  The wording of the heading vs the description seems confusing/conflicting to me so I obviously can't say exactly how this works (i.e. does it ban these, or allow only these).

    Thanks for testing and updating here.  That's good to know that it follows the logic of the 'Ban' heading, not the logic of the description.  So whatever is entered here is Banned. 

     

    I'll consider creating an FR for the opposite of this, i.e. who/what to sign up rather than block.  There are clients who want to limit which addresses are allowed (for example, only allow *.edu) rather than which are not allowed.
