    It would be faster for you to bookmark our knowledgebase table of contents, https://support.socialengine.com/php/customer/portal/articles/1686929-socialengine-php-v4-table-of-contents?_ga=2.143987189.1714536135.1532510206-1262470900.1532510206 , as everything in admin is in tutorials. This way, you can find the answers much faster.

    To set the profile questions on registration, please see this tutorial, https://support.socialengine.com/php/customer/portal/articles/1644307-admin-panel---settings->-profile-questions

    Hi Emi, you can manage/hide/display the profile fields coming in the create account box on the Landing Page using our Quick & Single Step Signup Plugin.

    This plugin will allow you to make Signup quick for your SocialEngine based websites which will enormously increase the registered users.

    You may need a Homepage Background Plugin + Quick Sign up Plugin

    You could try SocialEngineAddons. They are pretty good.

    @Emi Brown

    My guess is that it seems this will be a custom mod since the signup process out-of-the-box is as you've seen - split.  If this is truly the case, then you may wish to contact the developer of your Theme to ask for an estimate to provide what you're looking for.  Often times, this process helps me determine how important a certain enhancment is because until there's a cost attached to it, I often want everything.  But then once cost(s) are available, it helps me better choose where the budget should be directed.  In other words, is this a necessity (and you'll do it whether it costs $100 or $1000) or just a convenience (so you'd do it for $100 but not for $1000).  Obviously, often there are other more necessary enhancements or other needs that rise to the top of the list.

    One reason for a split signup is to reduce spam. It can help to have a multi-step sign up. Just a thought.
