How can i add custom fields in default SE blog and group

    hey,

    is that any easy way to add some custom fields in blog & group while creating.

    like if i want some details from user like : Group Location etc that how can i do that

    I don't use them, but aren't there Profile Fields to use?

    You would need a customization to add custom fields to Groups and Blogs. I don't know if there is any sort of plugin for this but perhaps check with some experts who frequent the community here as those would be the active ones to deal with.

    So I guess those SE Products don't offer Profile Fields.

     

    In addition to customization, you may want to consider a 3PD Product that offers Profile Fields (and so much more than SE Groups & Blogs). You may want to checkout the MarketPlace and contact the 3PDs directory regarding Certification status and SE 4.10.03p2 compatibility.

    @Emi: We have developed a new Group Communities plugin which will have this feature and many more. If you wish, you can purchase the plugin from Certified marketplace as we are soon going to submit it for Certification.

    We will post here once the plugin is certified. The plugin will have Post Moderation, Member Moderation, Ask Question functionality which groups owners can utilize, etc.
