Let us know if it isn't resolved. I do know that if you have the site in development mode and enabled maintenance mode it causes a weird issue sometimes (but it is random and hard to track down). You can disable maintenance mode in the code on your server if you need to, https://www.socialengine.com/support/article/5243159 by setting the Enabled to false in that file.
