    Hello again,

I wish to upgrade my SE 4.9.2p1 to 4.9.3 on my Windows 2012 server.

I have downloaded the social-engine-php-upgrade-4-x-4-9-3-4.9.3.tar package
And tried to navigate to Admin -> Manage -> Package and Plugins.

I was forwarded to this page: http://www.topsynergy.com/install/auth/key?key=818a61768423c6acbf622c4587a4aedd00969ed4&uid=1

And the following message is showing: "404 - File or directory not found"

I have uploaded the TAR file manually into ../temporary/package/archives/
    But it makes no difference.

I have browsed the Error Log, and no new error lines are showing.

    Help is greatly appreciated.

    Thank you,
    Shlomo

I am writing down what I have found that helps me as maybe other Windows O/S users:

    When I changed: ../install/auth/key?key=818a61768423c6acbf622c4587a4aedd00969ed4&uid=1
    Into: ../install/index.php/auth/key?key=818a61768423c6acbf622c4587a4aedd00969ed4&uid=1

    It all works well.

I guess that there are some rules in the individual .htaccess files that reside in each and every top directory that must be translated into IIS' web.config

Has someone got hands on experience with molding SE's four .htaccess files into a single root web.config one?

Great tips! I don't use windows servers due to how many issues there can be (from a past script I used) so I cannot assist with the htaccess issue. I hope someone posts some tips for you.

Try Vertrigo Serv. I was able to successfully get social engine installed using that as a localized web server.

    Thanks for the tip, Elshara.

What should be done with PHP, MySQL and other services that are included in Vertigo Serv and are already installed on my server?
