Please help!  We have been having trouble with accounts being automatically disabled and we cannot re-enable them.  It must be one of the background tasks doing this.  When we go in and re-enable them through the admin portal & save it, it shows enabled....... until the next time the login is tried.  On the next login attempt it gets disabled again and the admin portal shows as such.  When the account is disabled and the user tries to login, the landing page takes the username and password, acts like its going to login and then just returns back to the login page asking for username and password without an error message.

Double check your ban and spam settings https://www.socialengine.com/support/article/5341468/se-php-spam-and-banning-tools . If you are able to log in as the account in question, it most likely is an IP ban or they are having issues with their password and triggering it on failed log in attempts.

If you are using a third party plugin for more spam features, you may need to check on that.

You also didn't state your version of SEPHP you are using. Make sure you are on the most current version in case you have an issue with an old bug.

Also, check the member to make sure they are approved, enabled, and verified, https://www.socialengine.com/support/article/5210551/se-php-members
