[R]Video Feature Request

    Hi. Video settings are really few in SE. This should at least be improved to the following:

    1. Bee able to set video format

     

     

    1. Support HLS and that should be enabled from backend
    2. Preroll and postroll support
    3. Support video js player and fluid player
    4. Support setup of separate encoding/conversion server, storage server and scrip server. For load balancing.

     

     

    1. Player settings

     

    1. Support hotlinking, Video URL Lock and IP lock
    2. Support Neuroscore ai
    3. Support digiregs.com
    4. Thumb extraction

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    1. Cache settings

     

    Those are very basic today.

    We do have a roadmap for video improvements with quite a lot of things in the plan. If you would like to add a feature request please follow the posted guidelines. Thank you.

    Yes, it was quite a few, but video is really WAY behind in SE- and it is important.

     

    SE it not a tube site- but yes, i guess anyway i am doing things "My way" so I think i better focus on that way, because this was mostly to help you to get feedback.

    not that i hope to see this anytime soon in SE- this is HUGE work.

    I will do it My way.
