I am not sure if it's ok to post a link to our site here, but it's based on videos, and we wanted to have the videos displayed on the login page like before versions had been set up, but instead, we get a small thumbnail image. Is there a workaround to display the videos more like they are on the video page?
Also, we would like to display more images and not in banner stay but more like the classifieds style or something other than just the banners.
Any home page customization tips will help.
It's fine to post a link to non-adult sites. Screenshots are also very helpful. I'm not 100% clear on what you want. Are you using Elpis default theme? Are you putting a widget on the home page to display videos? Have you thought of purchasing Inspira theme, https://inspira.socialengine.com/
Can you put a screenshot of what you want to do with the images? Inspira still may be your answer.
I am having some trouble navigating the pages. I saw your message, and I can't seem to get back to it. It's like I want to have an image and a link with that image for sponsors of the contest. And video about the same size or so. 
I bought the theme you suggested and I have tried many times to upload it through the theme editing page and it just get's stuck and does not upload.
That can happen for a few reasons, normally it's server configuration such as open_basedir being enabled, https://community.socialengine.com/blogs/597/130/socialengine-requirements as it states it should not be. The other reason can be permissions or file upload size. Did you check all of that? Here's the tutorial for perms, https://community.socialengine.com/blogs/597/120/optimized-file-and-folder-permissions . I've installed the theme on many sites, including my own, and not had an issue so I know it does install. It's just a matter of finding why it's not installing on yours. Hopefully, it's one of the issues I mentioned.
Hi Donna, Thank you for your reply! I got it uploaded, and it's working, but the video Inspira landing page widget is having a white background, and the text is white. Does any know how to change this?
That's odd. I checked the inspira demo and it is not white on white, https://inspira.socialengine.com . Did you make any changes to CSS? Noting that you should be sure to be doing things as shown in the tutorial as making any changes to the default files in admin will cause upgrade issues. https://community.socialengine.com/blogs/597/124/inspira-theme
