I'm in my google console I was getting an error on my robot.txt about my social engine site map. The link I had in there was bad it was /index.php/sitemap something something. I put just /sitemap/ but that said its a html file. Do you know where I would find or how I would find my sitemap url for google. Thank you

You can try the full url but we didn't change it here and it is working as default for us. I moved this thread from the news section to this section. Please don't post in news and information as that is for official SE posts.

The sitemap is here, https://community.socialengine.com/sitemap and here https://demo.socialengine.com/sitemap ;. It works in google for us but try https://community.socialengine.com/sitemap?format=xml&rewrite=1 if the original doesn't work. There are also free sitemap generators that have more pages that index. There might be plugins for it too, in the marketplace but you'll want to get certified plugins if there are any for this.

The default sitemap just adds links to the site main navigation area. It doesn't provide links to new posts. The Sitemap plugin from Radcodes is the only one I found that does this and it works great.
